Bec Reidy manages a small not-for-profit called Bidwill Uniting in the Mt Druitt area (Western Sydney). Bidwill Uniting specialises in community development and building the capacity of people experiencing entrenched disadvantage. Bec has been working in the community sector for over 20 years and in community development with disadvantaged groups for over 15 years. Bec helped to start an advocacy group called Wester’ly during the pandemic to respond to the extreme nature of digital exclusion that she was witnessing amongst residents during that time.
